Let’s Build Your Kids’ Faith Together

At West Ridge, there’s always a place for your child. From infant through 5th grade, they’ll experience God in a dynamic way. While you enjoy weekend service, they’ll be focused on learning the truth of who God is and understanding His amazing love. Our kids classes are full of fun, interactive worship and age appropriate curriculum taught in a safe, loving atmosphere.

Safety is Our Highest Priority

Our Check-In Process

We use a security label system for check in and pickup which ensures that each child is released only to their approved parent or guardian. Also, if it’s your first time with us, let us know. Our volunteers are happy to assist you during check-in and get your kids to the appropriate classroom.

Our Teachers

All of our teachers and assistants have received full clearances from the state of Pennsylvania. They’re also required to go through a thorough screening process, as well as emergency evacuation training.

COVID Precautions

We’re doing everything we can to keep our classrooms sanitized. All of our Kids Ministry volunteers wear masks, and we have a professional cleaning service sanitize our spaces after each service. We also filter our air. For more details how we can work together to keep all of our kids safe, see our COVID-19 updates page.

Have Other Questions?

What’s the registration and check-in process like?

We have a system that will print a name tag with a unique security code for your child. They’ll wear the name tag throughout service, and you’ll receive a sticker with the same code on it. When they check out, we ensure the parent’s security tag perfectly matches the child’s unique security code before they can leave. This code changes every weekend for the child’s safety.

What clearances do your volunteers have?

All volunteers need to provide clearances including FBI fingerprint record check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA Criminal record check, and Child Abuse Identification and Reporting Training.

What happens if my child needs me during service?

We will text the parent’s cell phone number that’s on file for them. At that point, you can leave service and come back to check on or care for your child.

What happens if my child is sick or needs medication?

If your child is sick or has a temperature of 100 degrees or more, we ask that you keep them safe at home and join us after their symptoms are gone. If they get sick during service time, we’ll text the parent’s cell phone number on file for them. Otherwise, we do not administer any medicines.

Should I bring anything with my child?

If your child is placed in Bunny (6 weeks through 2-years-old), you may bring diapers, a bottle, formula, snacks, or toys as you feel is appropriate for your child.

Will there be any food or drink served to my child?

Unless your child is placed in Bunny (6 weeks through 2-years-old) and you bring something specific and asks for them to have some, we do not provide any food or drink during kids service times.
